Our First Wine Dinner
On Thursday, April 11th, 2002, Caffé Graziani hosted what was the first of many wine dinners.
The menu highlighted Chef Giovanni's talents, from appetizers of rolled stuffed eggplant to the main course of Chicken with Portobello mushrooms to our lovely fresh berries and ice cream for dessert. Each course was paired with a different wine carefully chosen by Giovanni and our wine expert, Bruce Abbey of Ruby Wines.
Giovanni and Paula began preparations early that day to set the atmosphere.
Bruce Abbey describes the history of the vineyards, the grape
growing process and the beauty of the final products.
A contented crowd toasts Chef Giovanni
and vows to return for the next dinner.
